Central New York Jazz Arts season finale features trombonist/composer Michael Davis. Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts was moved to comment, “In this ‘bone-dry’ era, it is essential to have Michael Davis around.”  Michael Davis is ailed as one of today’s premier instrumentalists, he has established himself as a first-call musician for the entertainment world’s biggest stars. Tours 1nclude the Rolling Stones, and past tours with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nelly, Bob Dylan, Beck, Branford Marsalis, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Lyle Lovett, Terence Blanchard, Michael Jackson. Sarah Vaughan, Sting, Harry Connick, Jr., David Sanborn, Bob Mintzer and scores of others.

Michael is a multiple recipient of awards from the National Endowment for the Arts.
