On The Farm Discovery Center Open House

Chris Fesko, producer of the On the Farm Video Series is having an open house on May 10th from 10am to 4pm at her On the Farm Discover Center. Visit this educational facility in a restored 100 year old barn. Some of the activities include:
Corn Cob Calculation, Barn full of Math, A dozen things to do with eggs & tool IQ.

Location: From Skaneatles village travel 10 miles down Route 41, and go past the Fesko Farm. Turn right on Woodworth Road. The Discovery Center is then one mile, on the left.

Syracuse Swing Dance Society (SSDS) will be hosting Syracuse Swing Week, April 4th through 12th. More than 20 dance events over nine days will be open to any and all dance lovers, from the curious to the passionate and everyone in between. SSDS is bringing in four internationally known, champion swing dance instructors representing two swing dance styles – West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop – to teach full-weekend workshops on April 4, 2008, and April 11, 2008. During the week between these weekend workshops, Syracusians can practice their dance steps or expand their repertoire with classes offered by local dance teachers.
