Happy 175th Birthday Village of Skaneateles!

Watch for a banner to be hung from the Village
Office (at 46 East Genesee Street) inviting residents
and visitors to celebrate the 175th anniversary
of the village in April. Our village (and our
fire department) were incorporated in April,
1833. Historical artifacts will be displayed at the
Village Office and residents are also encouraged
to visit the Creamery Museum to observe the anniversary
of our village.

Interested residents are
invited to attend a celebration dinner at the
Skaneateles Country Club on Saturday, April 19,
2008. Tickets are $50.00 each and are available
at the Village Office. The installation of officers
for our fire department will also take place at this
event. Part of the celebration will also take place
during Labor Day weekend when the fire department
Field Days will feature an extra special fireworks
show.
