Monday, February 14 – DINNER: Valentine Dinner Celebration – Come with a spouse, a friend
or friends or by yourself to celebrate this Feast of St. Valentine and the gifts of love we
experience in our lives. Our Chef Brian and his wonderful staff will once again prepare a special
dinner for our guests. There will be live entertainment provided and as always some special
surprises! This event has sold out in past years so be sure to make your reservations early!

Tuesday, February 22 The Skaneateles Historical Society’s monthly presentation will be given
by Ted Bartlett, Sr., associate with Crawford & Stearns, Architects and Preservation Planners,
Syracuse, NY. Ted’s program will be about the research, planning, and restoration of the Joseph
Smith farmhouse in Palmyra, NY. The farmhouse is of historic significance for its association
with the Mormons and their founder Joseph Smith, and won a NY preservation excellence
award. Ted recently completed the architectural assessment component for a Conservation
Assessment Program (CAP) for the Skaneateles Historical Society building, to help plan for the
future as well as maintaining and improving existing structures.
