Friday, May 6 Imagine, the fine arts and fine craft gallery at 38 E. Genesee St., will host a
jewelry expo throughout May, featuring works by seven contemporary silversmiths. The
exhibition opens May 6 from 6 to 9 pm, as part of the village’s First Friday celebration.
Refreshments will be provided, along with entertainment by the Pond Creek Bogstompers. The
gallery is open 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday and Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm Friday,

Saturday, May 14 April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month. Lucky Dogs Canine
Services has organized a Pet First Aid course to be taught at SAVES, 77 Fennell St. 8:30 am -
12:30 pm. The course will be taught by Brian Murphy, a certified instructor with the Cayuga
County chapter of the American Red Cross. At the end of the 4-hour course, participants will be
certified in Pet First Aid, and will take home either a dog- or cat-specific first aid manual & DVD.
The cost is $45 per person. Space is limited to 15 persons. To register for this course, contact
