Bill Pavlus and Town Supervisor Teri Roney & members of the Town of Skaneateles Conservation

Wednesday, April 27 FITNESS: Informational session 7:00 PM at the Skaneateles YMCA &
Community Center, 97 State St. for Engineered Triathletes pre-season Bike & Run
(Duathlon) Training Program. Participants will engage in a program that improves running and
cycling conditioning & technique. This six (6) week program will begin May 2nd. Women
sessions are scheduled on Tuesday & Thursday 6-7:15 am or Monday & Wednesday from 9:30-
10:45 am. Men’s sessions are scheduled on Monday & Wednesday mornings from 5:45-7am.
Program fees are $120. Sessions include free bike & run video analysis as well as a customize

Hospital (AMH) will be presenting three clinics designed to address your concerns for foot
health and implications with your cardiovascular health. Get motivated to run and better your

Richard Earlie a podiatrist with the Auburn Orthopedic Specialist at AMH will be the moderator.
He is board certified in podiatric medicine and surgery, a certified running coach and has

Woods Nature Center’s premier woodland wildflower garden is a local treasure. Join caretaker
Audrey Loewer for a pleasant walk through one of the wonders of spring. Each week new species
will bloom, and Audrey will reveal their past and present medicinal and culinary uses. The

On exhibit at the Weeks Art Gallery, Baltimore Woods Nature Center, 4007 Bishop Hill Rd.
Artworks in various media by artist Ruth Anne Reagan will be on display. The public is invited to
a reception for the artist on Saturday, May 28, from 11am to 1pm. The gallery is open Monday -
Friday, 9am–4pm, & Saturday 10am–4pm, closed Sundays. There is no charge for parking and
admittance. The gallery is open to the public.

Wednesday, May 4 PITCH: Monthly roundtable gatherings for women entrepreneurs and

St., will host a jewelry expo throughout May, featuring works by seven contemporary
silversmiths. The exhibition opens May 6 from 6 to 9 pm, as part of the village’s First Friday
celebration. Refreshments will be provided, along with entertainment by the Pond Creek

Saturday, May 14 April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month. Lucky Dogs Canine
Services has organized a Pet First Aid course to be taught at SAVES, 77 Fennell St. 8:30 am -
12:30 pm. The course will be taught by Brian Murphy, a certified instructor with the Cayuga
County chapter of the American Red Cross. At the end of the 4-hour course, participants will be
certified in Pet First Aid, and will take home either a dog- or cat-specific first aid manual & DVD.
The cost is $45 per person. Space is limited to 15 persons. To register for this course, contact
