The Cayuga County Office of Tourism is open from 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. In July and August, the office will be open from 10:00am – 2:00pm on Saturday as well.

- Civil War Sesquicentennial Event – Mount Pleasant Cemetery , Pine St., Port Byron. Come join us as we share Capt. Lockwood’s experiences during the civil war, with many details being shared with the public for the first time. The Sons and Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War will conduct the marker dedication. Veteran groups are welcome to stand with colors and join the parade from the Lockwood family burial ground to the flagpole for a special flag raising to honor all service men and woman who have served in the defense of American freedom. 11am.
