This annual exhibition will feature over 1,000 works of art by local
students and senior citizens from Cayuga County.

February 2nd – Auburn Doubledays Annual Hot Stove Dinner

- Auburn Holiday Inn, 75 North St., Auburn.  Special guests for the event will include the
Washington Nationals staff including Brian Minniti, Assistant General Manager,
Doug Harris, Director of Player Development, Mark Scialabba, Director of Minor
League Operations & Ryan Thomas, Assistant Director of Minor League
Operations. Dinner will include roasted turkey, roasted sirloin of beef, yankee
stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, garden salad, bread, and
dessert. Cash bar, tickets $30, 5pm.

February 2nd - AMATEUR CHEF’S NIGHT – Springside
Inn, 6141 West Lake Rd., Auburn.  The
event is scheduled for Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Springside Inn at 6 PM.
Tickets are $40 each or $350 for tables of 10.
Our local amateur chefs will once again be preparing and serving hors
d’oeuvres, soups and desserts. Springside Inn will be preparing the entrees.
Wine tasting will be provided by Dr. Frank’s Vinifera Wine Cellars with music
by Louis Nocilly & Jazzitude. Silent Auctions, and Raffles will round out

that is marvelously romantic, even though — or precisely because — it
acknowledges the disappointment that shadows every genuine expression of
romanticism. The film has the inspired silliness of some of Mr. Allen’s classic
comic sketches (most obviously, “A Twenties Memory,” in which the narrator’s
nose is repeatedly broken by Ernest Hemingway), spiked with the rueful fatalism

February 12th - The Life of Harriet Tubman: A
Spiritual Journey Through Music – Willard Memorial Chapel, 17 Nelson St.,
Auburn.  The Syracuse Chapter of the
Gospel Music Workshop of America (SGMWA), under the direction of Dr. Joan R.
Hillsman, will present a concert of inspired African music and Negro spirituals
to honor and celebrate the life of Harriet Tubman.  Co-sponsored by the Harriet Tubman Boosters
Club, this event will feature music composed and directed by Dr. Hillsman, and
performed by members of the Syracuse Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of
America. Their presentation will follow a narrative timeline of Harriet
Tubman’s life from slavery in the south to freedom in the north.  3 – 4pm,
tickets $10.
