Hara Agricultural Museum. Dr. Joseph F. Karpinski Sr. Educational Center. Come take a ride in
our horse drawn wagons, or ride in the “Model T” Tour car, sample food made in cast iron, chat
with the blacksmith, visit the country school, general store, veterinarian’s shop and watch textile
being made. Tours will be given of the museum or you can browse through the museum on your
own. The Herb garden will sponsor a plant sale from 11 A.M. till 2 P.M. Several antique tractor
clubs from the area will be present and will display antique tractors that have been restored by
club members. A local farm family will be showing Guernsey cattle. The alpacas will be back,
there will be live music and demonstrations on quilting, stenciling, tug hooking, sewing and
much more. Children can play with replicas of tractors and equipment in our grain bin area.
Videos of farm life will be shown in the new children’s theatre. Admission and parking is free.
Lunch is available to purchase. The gift shop will be open with a variety of local items for sale.

• Summer Nature Day Camp runs from July 9 through August 31 for ages 5-12, 10am to 3pm. The
182-acre property is alive with campers enjoying a week-long sessions loaded with educational

• Nature’s Little Explorers is for preschoolers ages 4 and 5. Dates TBD, 10am to noon. These children
get in on the action with their own camp groups.

Skaneateles Chamber Foundation along with Laker Limo and the Skaneateles YMCA
and Community Center are holding a Duck Dash during the sidewalk sales on July 21
st.
We are looking for people to assist on the committee. If you would be interested in helping
please call Randy Stockweather at (315) 685-3908. It is going to be lots of fun. Things we
need help with are: selling tickets, PR, sponsorships, numbering the ducks, and entertainment,
and help on the day of the race, corralling ducks! Contact
