COLLEGE COST WORKSHOP: 6:30 – 8:00 PM at the Skaneateles
Library, 49 E. Genesee St. – John Decker from
College Assistance Plus, John Decker will
discuss how to negotiate better deals at private colleges and grad schools, regardless of family
income. Whether you are a parent of student in middle school, high school, or already in
college, you’ll learn strategies to find a viable major and career, then progressively reduce the
cost of college throughout undergrad, grad programs, med school, and law school. Six figure
student debt is common and 53% of 2010 college grads are unemployed or in non-degree jobs.
Starting early in identifying careers and majors can mitigate this, plus will help avoid changing
majors 4 times and staying in college an average of 5.5 years! The fresh approach that
College
Assistance Plus
(CAPlus) developed was covered in full page article in the New York Times.
CAPlus will email this article in advance plus other practical information upon request. NCAA
sports strategies will also be discussed. Admission is free. For more information contact John
Decker at 656-7973, jdecker@CollegeAssistancePlus.com or on the web at
