August 5th - Doll’s, Doll Houses, Old Fashion Toys, and Game – Ward O’Hara Agricultural Museum & Dr. Joseph F. Karpinski Education Center,  6880 E. Lake Rd., Auburn.  Collectors on hand to show their Victorian Doll Houses & miniature furniture. August 7th  - Music & A Movie – Hoopes Park, E. Genesee St., Auburn . Joe Whiting Band will perform at 6:30 p.m.  Movie: The Muppets at 8:30 PM, Rated PG.  On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Crhis Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary, and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tributeband called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.  www.auburnny.gov  315-255-4737

August 7th – “The Emperor’s New Clothes” – Weedsport Free Library, 2795 E. Brutus St., Weedsport.  The Emperor’s New Clothes will be performed by the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre.  A fashion-obsessed Emperor, who is blinded by his search for the perfect wardrobe, hires two swindlers to sew his royal vestments. Hardly up to the task of creating these extravagant garments, the trickster “tailors” manage to convince the Emperor that their clothing can only be seen by the wisest people in the kingdom.
