More on Skaneateles Celebrating their 175th Anniversary

 The  Village of Skaneateles and the Skaneateles Volunteer Fire Department turned 175 years old on April 19, 2008.  To commemorate this historical event, the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce and Merchants’ Association are throwing a  party!
 
Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about our village history by visiting historical displays at participating businesses in the downtown area.  History will be displayed from May 20th - June 1st.  Residents can join in by displaying your American Flag during that time!
 
All families are invited to participate in a trivia contest.  Contest  forms can be found in the May 21st issue of the Skaneateles Jounal, and at the Skaneatele Chamber of Commerce.  Once completed drop them off at the Chamber Office, 22 Jordan St. to be entered into a drawing for a Sightseeing Cruise compliments of Mid-Lakes Navigation and a $50.00 Sherwood Inn gift certificate. All entries must be returned by June 2, 2008.
