Dining Skaneateles Rosalie’s Cucina

Rosalie’s Cucina
841 W. Genesee St. · Skaneateles, NY 13152
315-685-2200 · 315-685-2200 · Fax: 315-685-2168
A friendly, family-run, and vibrant Tuscan restaurant, a few blocks west of the center of town, Rosalie’s is a local favorite with very loyal customers. The casually attractive Tuscan-style dining room and kitchen are inviting, service is outstanding, and the food hearty and deliciously authentic. The antipasti are a perfect way to start, and though there are a few choices of homemade pastas, the main courses concentrate on very substantial, country-style meat dishes, such as Vitello Marsala (veal in Marsala wine), Braciole (prime sirloin scaloppine stuffed with prosciutto), and Arrosto di Maiale (slow-roasted pork). Bill Clinton used to dine here (pre-heart surgery). The wine list is composed largely of well-chosen Italian reds, though there are a handful of Finger Lakes wines and good California selections. Out back is an excellent bakery, with hand-rolled pastries and specialty breads.
