The world famous Cirque du Soleil will make its Syracuse debut with its “Saltimbanco” production from Sept. 5 to 9, 2007 at the Onondaga County War Memorial.
Tickets will be priced from $35 to $65. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday on the TicketMaster site and by phone charge at 472-0700. They’ll also be available through the Cirque du Soleil site.
The troupe is bringing the show to smaller arenas, with adjustments to sound and lighting adjusted for crowds of 4,000 to 5,000.
Central New York will have the chance, once again, to thrill to the theatrical phenomenon that has shattered box office records worldwide and is now the longest-running show in Broadway history. That phenomenon is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. The international award-winning musical returns to the Crouse-Hinds Theater in Syracuse, September 12 – October 7, 2007.
