“Guided Walking Tours of Historic South Street and Lecture on Etiquette for Formal Teas”
Peter Wisbey of the Seward House will give a lecture on etiquette for formal teas. Numerous guides will tell the story of the South Street homes and point architecturally significant details. Lecture will be given at 1:30pm and again at 3:30pm. Self-paced tours begin at 2pm through 3:30pm leaving form the gazebo across from Auburn City Hall.

Porch Walk of Historic South Street

Begin the ”at-your-own-pace” tour at the gazebo across from city hall, proceed south along the street, moving from guide to guide stationed along the street. Learn about the many architectural styles represented on South Street, including Federal, Greek Revival, Gothic Revival, Queen Anne and others. On the return trip north, art exhibited and for sale will be available on many of the porches.
