McLeod Dance Camps for kids give youth the chance to train in dance fundamentals, focused technique, and most importantly learn that making mistakes is a pivotal part of growth. Created by American Choreographer Sean McLeod, participants will study a variety of dance disciplines including McLeod Technique Modern, MT Afro Hip-Hop, and Reinforced Motor Function. Not only will they walk away with dance knowledge, but the ability to take lessons learned throughout dance and apply them in their everyday lives. The workshop will conclude with our famed “Talk Around,” an opportunity for participants to share their thoughts with.

Donna Dennihy (guitar, lead and harmony vocals)
Donna is a local singer-songwriter who has been performing with the band Edgy Folk for many years. Her songs draw from a lifelong creative involvement in music and a love of songwriting. She released her first solo album Early Girl in December 2013. Donna’s songs have been described as sweet and poignant with understated beauty. Her recent project with friends Paul Wakker and Ted Williams features original songs from Early Girl, as well as traditional and cover songs with an emphasis on beautiful harmonies…. and having fun!

Paul Wakker (bass, lead and harmony vocals)
Paul is a two-time SAMMY award winner and a founding member of The Lost Boys. He has played bass with several bands and musicians in Central NY including Loren Barrigar and John Cadley. A voice like no other, Paul has been highly regarded for his lead and harmony capabilities. Luckily, he didn’t listen to his 3rd grade teacher when she told him to stop singing.

Ted Williams (guitar, mandolin, vocals)
Ted is a member of the bluegrass groups The Mark Allnatt Band and John Cadley and the Lost Boys. He has played guitar in numerous productions of “Always Patsy Cline” with the incomparable Becky Botrill and has appeared many times with the legendary Dean Brothers Band. Ted is very pleased to have an opportunity to play with Donna Dennihy and his old friend Paul Wakker.

Sam Morril, one of the fastest rising comics in New York City, is also one of the best joke writers in the scene today. How do you know that’s true? Because he is writing this bio, and he wouldn’t lie about that to get extra work. He won March Madness 2010 at Comix, has performed in a Friars Roast, and was featured in a 4-page spread in the Daily News as “one of the four funniest in New York?” He then won the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta, beating out over 600 applicants. Sam was recently named a 2011 “Comic to Watch” by Comedy Central. His comedy can be heard on Sirius XM radio, and he’s a regular at all the top clubs in the city, all at the tender and supple age of 25. Come see Sam before his ego gets too big to do small rooms.
