This spectacular 1400-acre site, with nearly two miles of Lake Ontario shoreline, features glacially formed bluffs with scenic vistas of Lake Ontario. Hiking and cross-country ski trails available. In 1825 the Erie Canal (a.k.a. Clinton’s Ditch) opened with great fanfare. It stretched 363 miles across New York State and made it possible for barges to travel between Buffalo and Albany in just under 6 days.

The FLT trail system of over 875 miles is located on both private and public land. There are currently over 450 generous private landowners who allow the trail to be on their property
