WELCOME TO THE SKANEATELES FIGURE SKATING CLUB!
Established in 1970, the Skaneateles Figure Skating Club (SFSC) is a member of U.S. Figure Skating, the official governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. SFSC is a non-profit organization which provides programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating. These programs include Basic Skills, Moves in the Field, Freestyle, Ice Dancing and Synchronized Team Skating. Members skate year round at the Welch Allyn Arena, located inside the Skaneateles Community Center, and have additional seasonal ice at the Austin Park Pavilion. SFSC also presents special events each year, including a competition in December and Ice Dreams, the annual ice show held in the spring for all of our members, as a way to promote participation by all of our club members and their families.

Skaneateles SPASH was founded in February 1999 by a group of citizens interested in advocating for an aquatic facility to be built as part of the expansion of Allyn Arena. During the past three years the organization has supported the efforts of the SRCT to identify uses of a potential facility as well as assist in the design of the aquatics portion of the complex. The organization is also working to build awareness of aquatics in the community.
SPLASH is committed to organizing, promoting and overseeing aquatic activities including water safety, education and recreational events. We envision a community facility through which all segments of our population will be able to enjoy the benefits that aquatic activities provide.
Skaneateles SPLASH always welcomes additional members. Please contact Sharon Slater at: 685-5692 for further information.
