Make-A-Wish® Central New York is proud to present an all-new, family-friendly event: Walk on the Wild Side, honoring the Heitkamp Family. This exciting new event will be a large fundraiser for the charity and will provide participants with the opportunity to win great prizes – including a trip for four to DISNEY (airfare, hotel accommodations and park passes included; **see eligibility requirements below**). The event will be held at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY on Friday, July 11th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. Come explore the fields, meadows and wetlands for birds, butterflies and dragonflies. All of these diverse creatures can fly but each does it in its own unique way. We will hike the Meadow Trail and visit Dragonfly Pond in search of our summer winged wildlife.
The charge is $5 a car and $1 for Seniors and Handicapped. Fireworks at dusk. The Syracuse University Brass Ensemble will play at 8pm.
