Opening in 1997, Goose Watch is noted as one of New York’s most unique wineries for its setting as well as its wines. First, you’ll take in one of the loveliest views of Cayuga Lake from our tasting room, situated in a beautifully restored century-old barn nestled within one of the area’s only commercial chestnut groves. Bellwether Hard Cider, located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, specializes in the production of hard cider, a new “old” beverage that once reigned as our nation’s most popular drink.  We use a wide variety of Upstate New York apples to produce a range of carefully handcrafted, premium ciders.  These ciders range from extremely dry Champagne-style ciders, to a semi-dry non-sparkling ciders made with traditional English and French cider apples and classic Upstate varieties, to several lightly sparkling ciders that have some sweetness and refreshing apple taste, and our distinctive Cherry Street which is a lightly sparkling blend of apple and tart cherry.  Bellwether Hard Cider is a member of the Cayuga Wine Trail.

CJS Vineyards were established in 1995 with a small planting of Riesling and Cayuga White grapes. Today, there is a total of three acres of vineyards that also include Chambourcin, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc vines. The Aurelius Winery building, which also serves as the tasting room, opened in May 2003. 

CJS Vineyards and Aurelius Winery specializes in making crisp, clean, exciting wines in dry and semi-dry styles that compliment a wide variety of cuisines; the winery boasts, “a wine for every meal.” 

Featured new releases include the ‘2006 Riesling’ with fresh citrus flavors and a crisp acidic finish and ‘Villagio Blanco,’ a delicious zesty, tart wine with a lemon sent. Both of these wines are perfect with summer cuisine.

The Finger Lakes Winery Tours began as a family owned & operated business located next to Seneca Lake in Geneva, NY. We have Several Beautiful Coach busses, party busses, Limo Busses, Stretch Limousines, Trolleys, and cars for couples.

We can accommodate groups of any size. We can take you to the wineries of your choice or we can help with an itinerary. Or our trained Chauffeurs will help guide you to some of the best wineries in the area along with a stop for lunch & or dinner.
