Flares light up Skaneateles Lake.  In quanity, flares create a beutiful glow reflecting off the water of Skaneateles Lake.  This glow can be seen from the shores of Skaneateles Lake in Clift Park.
 
Flares are available for sale by Local Boy Scouts.

Cortland Repertory Theatre presents Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap

Cortland Repertory Theatre performs in the Edward Jones Playhouse of the Little York Pavilion, a former trolley park pavilion now listed on the National Historic Register. The pavilion is located in Dwyer Memorial Park, with picnic facilities overlooking Little York Lake, on Rt. 281 between Homer and Preble NY.

This Christie classic entered the record books in 1958 when it became the longest running play of all time…and it’s still going strong in London today!

A group of strangers find themselves stranded in a boarding house during a snow storm. Unexpectedly, a policeman on skis appears, hot on the trail of a murderer who must be hiding in the house. Are the newlyweds guilty or the spinster with a curious background? Or is it the wild young architect, the Army major, or the little man who claims his car has overturned in a drift?

As the police probes the guest’s backgrounds and rattles their skeletons, the murderer strikes again! Will they find out “whodunit” before it’s too late? It’s a perfectly penned mystery for all ages!

Lourdes Camp Skaneateles Lake

This summer is our 66th consecutive year at Ten Mile Point on the Eastern Shore of Skaneateles Lake, following 21 years at Morning Star Manor on Little York Lake. The camp has 100 acres of land enhanced by large shade trees, sprawling lawns, surrounding hills and Ten Mile Creek, in addition to 1,500 feet of lakefront. There are 18 cabins, a main lodge, infirmary, chapel, dining hall, canteen, boathouse and modern bathrooms.

The mission of Lourdes Camp, which is under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, is to provide an opportunity for youngsters to grow spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially in a wholesome, caring, outdoors environment. It is a learning experience filled with fun and excitement, available to boys and girls of all faiths between the ages of 7 and 14.
