| The Most Common Request we get is “Walk to the Village, on the Lake. Oh, and something nice, not campy”. Well, here it is … sort of. Almost Village/Almost Dockside. That said, the Owner’s mom is a designer and just recently ‘Wowed’ the interior. Campy it is not!.
Almost Village/Almost Dockside is 1/2 mile down East Lake Road, so yes, you can walk to the Village (think of it as not going to the gym). You can absolutely walk to the lake, as your private deck on your private lakefront is only 100 paces away.
AV/AD is situated on a dog-leg, L-shaped lot on a private lane for 3 homes off of East Lake Road. The views from the Living Room, Dining Room, Game Room and Patio are terrific. The amenities are better, like a new ping-pong table, cable TV and Wireless High-Speed Internet access. Did we mention the gas grill, Jacuzzi bathtub, fireplace and central air-conditioning? We can’t help but notice how surprisingly quiet and private the yard is.
Almost Village Almost Dockside is more of a year round home than a vacation rental. It has three bedrooms, two baths, an office, a large laundry room, an attached 2-car garage, and a distinctive wraparound deck for grilling out all four seasons.
Almost Village features a large, eat-in kitchen and lots of glass in the Living Room & Game Room / Family Room.
Sleep 6 in three bedrooms and two baths. One Bedroom boasts a ‘Sleep Number’ Queen size mattress (We don’t want the Guy paying the bill to sleep poorly) and two other bedrooms have two twins each. All bedding is ‘hotel’ quality and comes complete with all bed and bath linens. We even supply hair dryers and “little soaps”.
Relax with the cable TV or stay connected with Wireless High-Speed Internet. Cold beer is only a few steps away in the large kitchen, of course, completely equipped. The full-size washer and dryer are in the room next door. Of course, we include detergent and softener. |
