| NOT a Dockside, but it has much charm and we didn’t know where else to put it. Only 4 miles down West Lake Road, turn right on (aptly named) Hencoop Road to find CountrySide at Cedar Cottage; sportsman’s paradise by day and an immaculately clean vacation rental by night. Everything is provided: Enjoy sitting on the deck and lawn and soak up the spectacular view from the swing set or cook out on the fire pits and gas grills.
Each of the four bedrooms has comfortable bedding, including all linens. The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped. Satellite TV is provided in three locations, including the Game Room equipped with fireplace, pool table, foosball, darts and an (OPTIONAL) 4 person Hot Tub. Local telephone and WIFI internet access is included, as is laundry. Your private pond is stocked full of bass and is a fisherman’s dream especially if you are not particularly patient, they practically jump on your line. The kids will love all the frogs and painted turtles, as well as our resident muskrat! He dives and swims and chops away at the cattails! The blue herons love to land and walk about the pond as well as a yearly family of wild ducks.Bring your snowmobiles and boats and even dirt bikes, there are trails for all. Skaneateles Lake public boat launch is 2 miles. If it’s Outdoor Adventure, you can live it at Cedar Cottage during any of our four magnificent seasons. Thirty-five acres of field and stream, snowmobiles trails and hunting and fishing and hiking are out the back door. And the Finger Lakes view is simply spectacular. Your own Field & Stream Paradise, yet the Village is only 5 miles away. |

The (OPTIONAL) hot tub only fits 4, so others will have to play pool or foosball or sit by the fire while they wait their turn. |
