| Everyone visiting the StoryBook Village has oogled and fantasized about the Enchanted BoatHouse. Clearly visible overhanging the West Side Village waterfront, Enchanted BoatHouse is a local Skaneateles, Finger Lakes icon. Read on, Enchanted BoatHouse is not for everyone.Actually two Places To Stay; the BoatHouse and the Cute-as-a-Button Cottage next door.The BoatHouse has a “gathering room” with Fireplace and lounge furniture that opens to the magnificent deck, overhanging the lake and looking at the Village. (If you look carefully, you will see all the people in the park turning green with envy). Upstairs is a sleeping area with two double beds. BUT, there is no plumbing in the BoatHouse.The Cute-as-a-ButtonCottage is next door. Think of it as a very small cottage, or, a very large hotel room. The Cottage has a fully modern kitchen and bath with tub/shower, a lounge area with fireplace and an alcove with two twin beds. (Yeah, we know it should be 1 King, but that will have to wait for next year.)Conclusion: Enchanted BoatHouse sleeps 2 - 6, but the last four will have to walk to the Button Cottage for a middle of the night bathroom break.Your fantasy vacation includes both these, as well as 100′ of private level lakefront.Technically there are neighbors, but you would never know it while sitting on the patio of the Button Cottage or the deck of the Whimsical BoatHouse.If you get tired of relaxing, it is an easy 2 block walk to the StoryBook Village.Please take note, there is NO TV, NO INTERNET and NO PHONE.
