| Just 3 Miles after the last Village streetlight, turn left on a private tree-lined driveway, past the year-round homes until you find Dockside at Three Mile. Starting now, you are on vacation!
The waterfront patio at Three Mile is truly remarkable. With your foot on the deck railing, wave while you watch the Judge Ben Wiles cruise past. Don’t be surprised if a hot air balloon drifts by at the same time; It is summer in Skaneateles. One bedroom is small & cozy with a superior Queen bed already made up with hotel quality linen. The second sleeping room has a Double. 2 more (Kids) can use a sleeper sofa. No need to bring anything but groceries, everything needed to cook and eat is provided. Same for the bed & bath, linens are provided. Most of Three Mile Cottage is one big, inviting kitchen, living and dining area. Of course, a gas grill will cook your steaks on the deck. The dining room table doubles as card and game table. Technology at 3 Mile might surprise you; included is cable TV, and internet. Or, we will be pleased to take all that out, you decide. However, a word of caution about Three Mile: This is a vacation Cottage “the way they used to be”. The bath has a shower only (If you need a bath, go jump in the lake) Some of the cupboard doors stick (we fix them every year). If you are looking for luxury, this is not it. If you are looking to be on the water, near the village, you won’t be disappointed. |
