Sunday, September 17 – Sunday, November 6 – Westminster Church 150 Years – Cayuga Museum, 203 Genesee St., Auburn. The exhibit will look at major themes and events throughout the history of the church ranging from education and outreach to the Church’s famous Tiffany window. The exhibit will also Westminster’s strong involvement in various civil rights movements: the church was founded in 1861, when 66 abolitionist members left Second Presbyterian Church following the Rev. Henry Fowler, who was forced to leave because of the controversy he caused by praying publicly for the soul of John Brown.The exhibit will feature objects and photographs from both the collection of the Cayuga Museum and Westminster Church.
