Feb. 1st – Apr. 19th -  General John S. Clark – Cayuga Museum of History & Art, 203 Genesee St., Auburn.  Biographical exhibit on General John S. Clark, a man of his era. Civil War veteran, cartographer, ethnographer, and Auburn City Planner.  Closed major holidays.  Suggested donation $3, Tues. – Sun. Noon – 5:00 pm.  www.cayugamuseum.org  315-253-8051 

Mar. 1st – May 31st – “Lincoln Tour” – Seward House Museum, 33 South St., Auburn.  Tour showcases the working relationship and personal friendship between the President and his Secretary of State.  The Seward House Museum is offering the “Lincoln Tour.” The tour will show museum visitors the actual artifacts of these two men’s world-changing professional relationship, but also of their genuine friendship. Visitors will get to see Seward’s appointment document where Lincoln names him Secretary of State, hear letters about the President and his relationship with not only Seward but his family, Lincoln’s presence throughout the Seward Home and more.  The story of the this great partnership is told through stories in the following rooms of the house: Parlor, Library, Dining Room, Drawing Room, Upstairs Hall,Victorian Room, Civil War Room, and Seward’s Office.  Thurs. 1:00 pm, Sat. 1:00 & 3:00 pm, admission $5.  www.sewardhouse.org  315-252-1283

Mar. 20th – Apr. 26th – “Out of Rubble” – Art Exhibition at Wells College – The String Room Gallery at Wells College, 170 Main St., Aurora.  The Wells College Visual Arts Department welcomes the exhibition, “Out of Rubble,” curated by Susanne Slavick. Photographs, paintings and video and digital works will be displayed in the String Room Gallery of Main Building.  Out Of Rubble reacts to the wake of war – its realities and its representations. The rubble that each war leaves behind shapes today and tomorrow – physically, psychologically, spiritually and culturally.
