HERMANN J. WIEMER WINE DINNER
Hermann J. Wiemer was a pioneer of Finger Lakes wine, bringing with him skills and traditions of his native Germany. Some fifty years later, the Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard is one of the premier producers of Riesling in the United States. Our epicurean dinner will feature an array of Wiemer wines, paired with a five-course meal presented by the Aurora Inn Dining Room culinary team.

Our sun is the nearest star and is often overlooked by those who watch the night skies. The sun has been at its peak activity this past year with an abundance of sunspots, solar flares, and other features that are fascinating to watch and can also move and change shapes within several minutes. Come out and observe the sun through specially-filtered telescopes and see what it looks like up-close and personal. A great way to warm up on a winter afternoon!

7 of the brave Bijou girls are for the third time jumping into the Skaneateles frigid lake. Every year, they dress up..this year will not disappoint! Can you imagine 7 loofah body scrubs bouncing in the lake? Oh yes, daring, these girls are! Constructing their costumes out of colored tulle! BUT only if they get to at least $1000! It’s all about the trophy…we had it the first year..then we lost it…They want to reclaim it! Will you help and donate, check out our rewards just for you!
Please join us for this great fundraiser, which will provide needed funds for the Skaneateles Education Foundation, SAVES (Skaneateles Ambulance Volunteer Emergency Services) and the Skaneateles Fire Department.
