Free as part of First Friday

Noma Bliss (artist) is collaborating with friends and family to design works of art that encourage people to express themselves.  We are living in a time that the pace of living is so fast, that people have to set aside time for one another. William Gruff debuts their new album, Binghamton

Featuring Will Tobin

New York based band William Gruff transcends genre and time.   Pulling from bluegrass, rock ‘n roll, gypsy swing and everything in between, their debut and self titled album leaves no stone unturned.  Their latest EP Binghamton moves in a more inward-looking direction, channeling the sounds of David Bowie with a healthy dose of country folk.  It is characterized by thoughtful to brisk rhythms, contemplative, expressive and yearning vocals, sweet harmonies and cogent lyrics.

Though ranging stylistically song to song, one thing remains constant – a commitment to thoughtful songwriting.  Leader singer and guitarist, Matt Cusack has assembled the some of the finest musicians in New York and Philadelphia on bass, drums, keys and guitar.  William Gruff promises to deliver electrifying live performances, both raw and unique that will bring any crowd to their feet, singing and dancing.

Music and Lyrics:  Matt Cusack, Arranged by William Gruff

William Gruff is:  Matt Cusack, Vince Federici, Charlie Heim, Will Tobin, Reinder Oldenburger
