July 5th – 28th – My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding – Auburn Public Theater, 108 Genesee St., Auburn.  Produced by upstate NY’s most popular professional theater – Merry-Go-Round Playhouse.  What happens when your divorced Mom falls in love and decides to get remarried, but not in the conventional way? A hilarious and heartfelt true story that celebrates love in all its forms! The hit of the 2009 Toronto Fringe and the 2010 New York Musical Theater Festival, My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding will make you laugh, cry and realize that nothing’s impossible and that we can all get along if we just keep our sense of humor.  .   Visit web site or call box office for ticket prices and show times.  www.fingerlakesmtf.com             800-457-8897

Aug. 1st – Aug. 18th – Fingers & Toes – Auburn Public Theater, 108 Genesee St., Auburn.  Tap dancer Dustin “Toes” MacGrath, and pianist Tristan “Fingers” St. Claire have managed to talk a major Broadway producer into coming to see their show in two weeks: a boy meets girl tap dance spectacular on the theme of love. But there’s a problem: first, they haven’t written it yet, secondly they don’t have a girl, and sadly, they have no idea whatsoever about love. As the deadline approaches, everything becomes swept up in a series of dazzling numbers and comical scenes as their theme “Love” begins to derail the show. A deliriously delightful and genuinely funny love-letter to the old-fashioned “let’s put on a show”.   Visit web site or call box office for ticket price and show times.   www.fingerlakesmtf.com       800-457-8897

July 25th“The Emperor’s New Clothes” – Casey Park, 150 N. Division St., Auburn.  The Emperor’s New Clothes will be performed by the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre at Casey Park.  A fashion-obsessed Emperor, who is blinded by his search for the perfect wardrobe, hires two swindlers to sew his royal vestments. Hardly up to the task of creating these extravagant garments, the trickster “tailors” manage to convince the Emperor that their clothing can only be seen by the wisest people in the kingdom. Can one man’s honesty help the Emperor to see the error of his vanity before he strolls through Pantaloon wearing nothing at all?  9am, free.  http://merry-go-round.com/youth-theatre/summer-tour/  315-255-1305

July 25th – August 15th – My Fair Lady – Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, 8977 E. Lake Rd., Auburn.  A musical theatre masterpiece, this sweeping musical adaptation tells the story of an unforgettable cockney girl, Eliza Doolittle, and her transformation from poor flower girl to elegant lady, overseen by the cantankerous Professor Henry Higgins. This score features some of the most beloved songs of all time including, ‘Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?’, ‘Get Me to the Church on Time’, and ‘I Could Have Danced All Night.’   Visit web site or call box office for ticket prices and show times.  www.fingerlakesmtf.com  800-457-8897
