Bijou girls Freezin’ For A Reason

7 of the brave Bijou girls are for the third time jumping into the Skaneateles frigid lake. Every year, they dress up..this year will not disappoint! Can you imagine 7 loofah body scrubs bouncing in the lake? Oh yes, daring, these girls are! Constructing their costumes out of colored tulle! BUT only if they get to at least $1000! It’s all about the trophy…we had it the first year..then we lost it…They want to reclaim it! Will you help and donate, check out our rewards just for you!

Please join us for this great fundraiser, which will provide needed funds for the Skaneateles Education Foundation, SAVES (Skaneateles Ambulance Volunteer Emergency Services) and the Skaneateles Fire Department. You will also be supporting the Sunrise Rotary Club Winterfest, which helps provide family fun and financial support for a variety of community services.

Thank you in advance for any support!

Benefit Bazaar – artsist one-of-a kind, tag sale, and old fashion bake sale
100% of proceeds go to support Susan Major’s journey to health.
Also the Flip Flop Project is on going and they can be purchased at Bijou Salon, The Community Center, and Skaneateles Jewelers as well as at the Bazaar. This time they read Love, Faith and Hope.

Susan Major always has a smile on her face, with lipstick that typically coordinates with her outfit; but it’s her inner beauty that radiates. Founder of Sacred Mornings for Moms and Our Joyful Journeys, Susan has ignited many women to believe in a better day, nourish their spiritual side and to think about giving back to others. I have witnessed firsthand Susan’s ability to sow seeds of hope for others. Many women have stopped me with tears in their eyes to tell me how Susan has positively impacted their life; now that circle of love that she creates is the ripple in the pond that we all feel.

At age 39, Susan was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer That’s why the community is coming together.
