It’s been said that on St. Patrick’s Day, everyone is Irish.

But why limit the celebration to one day?

Throughout the month of March, Grammie’s Pantry Tea Room and Gift Shop, 1126 Woodworth Road, Skaneateles, invites leprechauns and lassies to an Irish Victorian tea.

The “Taste of Ireland” menu includes green scones with homemade lemon curd and Devonshire cream, Irish soda bread, Burgundy fruit cup, Feta cheese spread and crackers, ham and cabbage soup, tea sandwiches, and a lucky lime cheesecake shamrock dessert.

“Life is about making memories, and we promise this will be a good one,” says owner Sue Smith.

The Irish Victorian tea runs March 2-31, Monday through Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Cost is $19.95. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 636-8111.

Grammie’s Pantry is located 11 miles south of the village of Skaneateles, off Route 41 (East Lake Road). For more information, visit Grammie’s newly designed website, http://www.grammiespantry.com.
