Skaneateles Winterfest 2009 is hosted by the Sunrise Rotary Club. Events take place all day at the Skaneateles Community Center. People of ages can enjoy a display of emergency vehicles, dog sled rides, games, winter whole in one, ice sculptures and a craft show.

Jan 31 2009 Winter Challenge
Skaneateles Community Center host Winter Challenge 2009 – The challenge consists of a two person team. One Cross Country Skier and one skater. The cross country skier will ski 3 miles around Austin Park while the skater will skate 40 laps in the William G. Allyn Ice Arena.

Jan 31 Taste of Skaneateles
The Skaneateles Merchants and Sunrise Rotary Club bring you a flavor of what Skaneateles is all about. This community event will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2009 by the lake for a “Taste of Skaneateles”. Tastings of chili, chowder, mexican, beer, wine, coffee, dips, cider, and horse & carriage rides will be available for your afternoon enjoyment. Something for all ages!
