Grada are based in Dublin and Galway, Ireland, where they began playing together in 2001. Since then, they have taken Irish traditional music forward to a new level, effortlessly blending contemporary music styles, modern songs and other forms of ethnic music into their own natural style. Grada has enjoyed a rapid path to success, based on their infectious, modern take on Irish music. They have an exceptional rapport with audiences, whether it is in concert halls, clubs, or outdoor festivals. Their music encompasses a diverse range of styles and features musicians not only from Ireland, but also from New Zealand, England and Denmark.

The German American Society of CNY will be sponsoring a mini-Oktoberfest music preview, including German Chorus’, German Dancing and German Bands at the Pepsi Pavillion at the New York State Fair Grounds on Saturday August 30th from 11:00am till 6pm. This is just a hint at some of the entertainment that will be at the Great Syracuse Oktoberfest that will be held on the weekend of September 19th – 21st at Clinton Square in Downtown Syracuse.
