Jazz, seafood & fun on the West Lawn of the Sherwood — an annual tradition!

The Sherwood Inn will host its 16th Annual Seafood Jazzfest on Sunday, September 7th. The festivities kick off at noon on the West Lawn. Seafood Jazzfest will feature a terrific lineup of regional jazz talent, including:
Dave Hanlon “Cookbook”, Grupo Pagan (“Sammy” Award Winners), the Joe Whiting Band with special guest Brian Murphy.
The music will be served up with plenty of delicious food and beverages by the Sherwood Inn, including Raw Bar, Jambalaya, Seafood Gumbo, Steamed Clams, Hoffman Hots, sodas and cold beer. All of this and no cover charge! Bring a chair and lounge by the lake while enjoying some great local fare and entertainment.

Creekside Books and the Sherwood Inn host Kirk W. House and Charles R. Mitchell, authors of Finger Lakes and Watkins Glen Racing.
For Around Watkins Glen, historians Charles R. Mitchell and Kirk W. House have assembled images from the Schuyler County Historical Society, the International Motor Racing Research Center of Watkins Glen, and private collections. Mitchell, formerly a professional photographer, is curator of the Oliver House Museum. House, the former director-curator of the Glenn Curtiss Museum, is a member of the Schuyler County Historical Society and other historical groups. Together and singly, they have written histories on Bath, Corning, Hammondsport, Keuka Lake, Penn Yan, and aviation subjects.
This event will be held at the Sherwood Inn on Genesee Street.
Sherwood Inn Rhythm, Blues & BBQ July 27, 2008
The Sherwood Inn will host its fourth annual Rhythm, Blues & BBQ Festival Sunday on the west lawn, featuring the Joe Whiting Band, with special guest Mark Doyle, and The Mere Mortals.
