Thursday, February 3 Community Preservation Committee at Willard Memorial Chapel will
again hold ist annual funraiser Amateur Chef Night! Local amateur chefs will once again be
preparing and serving hors d’oeuvres, soups and desserts. Springside Inn will be preparing the
entrees. All items will be served from stations so guests can mingle and choose their favorites.
This year a new feature has been added. Local chefs who have moved to the professional world
will demonstrate preparation of their signature dishes on the stage at Springside in a “Food
Network” like setting. These dishes will also be on the menu. Wine tasting by Dr. Frank’s Vinifera
Wine Cellars, music by Louis Nocilly & Jazzitude, Silent Auctions, and Raffles will round out the
evening. 6:00 PM at the Springside Inn Tickets: $40.00 each

Friday, February 4 FIRST FRIDAY: Snake Oil Glassworks is holding its first fundraiser. 5:00
PM – 9PM. “Blowin’ Red for the American Heart Assn.” We will be making red items that night
and also having a live auction on items as they are being made in the studio. Where we need
some help is the silent auction. Would you be willing to donate an item to our silent auction? Phil
will also be making red bowls that we can use to put some of the silent auction items in. Please

Friday, February 4 is National Wear Red Day. Heart disease remains the leading cause of
death for American women. Wear red February 4th to encourage the awareness of heart disease

Monday, February 14 – Valentine Dinner Celebration – Come with a spouse, a friend or
friends or by yourself to celebrate this Feast of St. Valentine and the gifts of love we experience
in our lives. Our Chef Brian and his wonderful staff will once again prepare a special dinner for
our guests. There will be live entertainment provided and as always some special surprises!
This event has sold out in past years so be sure to make your reservations early! Dinner will be

year olds free swim lessons in 2011. If you have a seven years old during any part of a swim lesson
session, then your child may take that session for free! There are typically six swim lesson sessions in

Quilts on Exhibit January 3 — February 25, 2011 In the Weeks Art Gallery at Baltimore Woods
Knott’s solo exhibition at Baltimore Woods focuses on themes inspired by the natural world. With
the innovative use of material, texture and color, Knott is in the company of quilt makers who
work to expand the definition of quilt making from craft to fine art. Artwork in the gallery and in

Every Friday and Saturday through April – Baltimore Woods is partnering with Cornell Lab of
Ornithology to collect important data about birds. Become a citizen scientist by spending a few
moments recording which birds are visiting the Baltimore Wood feeders and contribute to bird
