Spring is almost here, which means it is time to pay closer attention to the wildlife in the Beaver Wetland. Is the great horned owl nesting here again? Are the great blue herons, red-winged black birds or hooded mergansers back yet? Come out for a hike to see what early migrants are back and how the wetland is letting go of winter.

One of the most popular winter wildlife activities in the US is watching and feeding birds at a feeding station. This program will help you identify the birds at your feeder and show you ways to create simple feeders. Participants will create a peanut butter and seed feeder to take home. A short winter bird walk will follow the indoor program. This program is free and open to the public.
