Mirbeau Inn & Spa hosts
the First Annual New York Wine Festival!
The New York Wine Festival is excited to launch and establish the first wine festival in New York State that not only showcases fine wines from the three main wine growing regions in New York to tempt the wine expert, but also brings interactive workshops, tasting tents, food and live music for the wine curious as well.
The New York Wine Festival was born when a group of the more serious wine makers wanted a festival that focused on all three regions of New York’s wineries rather than segregating them; this would unite them together as New York State Wines. They approached Mirbeau Inn & Spa and asked the property to be the host for the premier year. Having a high interest in fine wine in it’s restaurant, Wine Bar and featured vinotherapy treatments in the spa, Mirbeau readily accepted the invitation and voila! The First Annual Wine Festival had a home.
The festivities begin on Friday, September 24th with a Wine Pairing Dinner and continue through the weekend with events such as winery tours, seminars, tasting & voting, spa treatments, food & tasting tents, and live music until 4pm on Sunday, September 26th.
Please join us in celebrating the uniqueness and pride of New York State Wines!

Polar Passport Seneca Wine Trail
THIS WINTER’S POLAR PASSPORT WILL RUN DECEMBER 8, 2008 THROUGH APRIL 13 2009. If you’re signed up to receive emails from us, you’ll receive information about when they go on sale.
DATE:
valid December 8, 2008 – April 13, 2009
TIME:
During each winery’s regular tasting room hours.
PRICE:
$10.00 plus 8% sales tax (one passport per person, limited quantity sold, and are nonrefundable)
Visit the Seneca Trail during the best time of year: the off season! At only $10 plus tax, the Polar Passport gives residents and visitors alike a convenient and affordable way to enjoy many of the wineries on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. And while most people enjoy visiting the wineries during the busy summer and autumn season, the winter season is actually the best time to visit when owners, winemakers and vineyard managers are more available and are more likely to be available to chat in the tasting room.
Here is how it works: First of all, starting winery points are not assigned for this passport program – YOU MAY START WHERE YOU LIKE! Visit any of the over 20 participating wineries, receive a free** flight of wines at each winery, and the winery will stamp or mark the appropriate space in your Polar Passport.
Valid only at the participating wineries, all of whom are listed on the map below, this is a terrific, affordable product for visitors and residents alike (tasting fees generally run from $1-4 per winery). Please check with participating wineries to confirm their individual operating hours.
Please visit each participant’s page in this passport to learn more about them and any specials they may have. The number referenced on this map is also their page in the Passport.
**THIS PASSPORT IS NOT INTENDED FOR LARGE GROUPS. If you are traveling in groups of 10 or more, tasting fees may apply. Visit our website to learn more, www.SenecaLakeWine.com, click on: Information ? FAQ ? Visiting Us ? “How to give a large group tour”.
